are the Insurance Licensing Requirements for this state.
Pre-Licensing Hours 24 hours of pre-licensing
is required to sit for any state-licensing exam. Courses must be approved by
the plan sponsor and contain a minimum of 3 hours of ethics.

Carryover Requirements A
maximum of 24 hours may be carried over to the next reporting period.
Course Repetition Credit will not be
given for courses taken more than once in each biennial reporting period.
Exemptions • Individuals licensed
continuously since 12/31/70, unless an additional line of authority was
added after that date. • Individuals exempted by the commissioner due to
hardship or good cause such as disability or medical condition. •
Individuals appointed as resident agents solely to countersign policies and
not engaging in the solicitation or sale of insurance. • Individuals
licensed only for restricted fraternal. • Individuals who first obtained
licenses without examination under Section 609 (c) of the Fraternal Benefit
Societies Code and whose appointments are limited to fraternal benefit
societies.
